So this is very, very late--- due to camera loading issues. I forgot my camera and had to borrow the Blofksy’s camera, I know me, forget my camera--- shocking. However, the wait is over. The Blofsky’s hosted this international dinner and chose Greek as our theme. Sarah made Gyros that were amazing! Matt and I brought Greek roasted potatoes which consist of potatoes, lots of herbs, olive oil, and feta cheese; along with Greek green beans. The night was topped off with a game of Apples to Apples while we pigged out on the very sweet sweets that the Story’s brought. Kari made amazing Greek almond cookies, baklava and honey sesame sweets. Oh my gosh--- I was stuffed by the end of the night. Everything was so amazing, and I am loving this dinner club we have started. Can’t wait for this month! Enjoy--- cause we did!

My job search…
My job search… ENDED! That’s right, I am so excited to say that I will be a nurse at Allergy Associates of Chico. I am overwhelmed with excitement. You know the saying “hind sight is 20/20”--- its true. Now that I am here, I see so clearly why and it all makes perfect sense. Graduating from school, I was determined to be in the hospital, determined to be an OB nurse--- but things have now changed. Over the past few months I have evaluated my family life and how that would accommodate working holidays, working weekends, working nights, and the month to month unknown schedule. I have realized that I like having a set schedule, having my weekends off to be with my family, and not having to work any holiday. It became clear that I could make a difference in an office or clinic just as much as in the hospital. Opportunities have arose for me to volunteer in the maternity unit in other ways that bring me complete fulfillment. So now I celebrate! I celebrate how God’s ways are ultimately and always the best. I celebrate how I am in a position that was and is better than I could of imagined. I will have the best of all worlds--- ways to spend time impacting new families, dedicated time to photography, enjoy time regularly with my family, and become the compassionate nurse I always dreamed of being. I am very blessed. Last night to celebrate, Matt took me out to my favorite yogurt place--- he even took a picture with me (that’s how I know he was excited about me being a working woman). Thank you to everyone for your prayers, your encouragement and your support.
